Georg Gratzer, Patrick Scherhaufer and Reinhard Steurer from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna (BOKU) have written a guest commentary in the Standard on the role of science in the climate crisis. In their text, they advocate for science to become more involved in the political discourse in order to be effective. After all, traditional scientific work in the sense of writing papers and presenting research results is not enough.
