On March 6, 2024, the Ágnes-Heller-house of the University of Innsbruck (UIBK) hosted an interactive poster exhibition on March 8 - the so-called International Women's Day, which in its political significance is celebrated internationally as a feminist day of struggle for gender equality.

The posters on show dealt with gender equality, the 5th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of the United Nations, and were dedicated to three selected topics: 1. gender-based violence, 2. gender care gap, 3. gender pension gap. They were created by communication designer Elisabeth Kopf and presented in the Austrian Parliament in 2022. The aforementioned posters have now been deliberately exhibited for the second time - on the occasion of the new UniNEtZ sponsorship for SDG 5 at the Center for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies Innsbruck (CGI) at the UIBK. By re-examining content that has already been developed, it becomes clear that sustainability is not only the focus of the content, but also shapes the working methods within the UniNEtZ project.

In the course of the interactive redesign of the posters, Innsbruck lecturers and students from the fields of Gender Studies and Sustainability Studies as well as administrators and interested parties exchanged views on gender equality as an indispensable component of sustainable development. The interactive poster exhibition was organized by Gundula Ludwig and Dijana Simić. It was opened by Irene Häntschel-Erhart, Vice-Rector for Digitalization and Sustainability.
